A 48-year-old Orlando man was killed early Saturday morning after he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree on Orange Blossom Trail.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal accident took place near the intersection of Conroy Street and S Orange Blossom Trail on Saturday, December 31, at around 4:47 a.m.
The man was driving a 2006 Honda Odyssey westbound on Conroy Street, approaching S Orange Blossom Trail, when he lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons and struck a curb.
The vehicle continued traveling west through the intersection and collided with a tree on the west shoulder of Orange Blossom Trail.
The man was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
