Lazy Dog opening first Orlando-area restaurant, bar

A California-based restaurant and bar will open its first Orlando-area location this summer.

Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar is working on a new location at 8019 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee, its second in the state of Florida.

An American casual dining restaurant, Lazy Dog serves “elevated comfort food,” according to founder Chris Simms.

Lazy Dog features a massive menu with dozens of options. From TV dinners, to starters, small plates, bowls, salads, sandwiches, burgers, soups, noodles, and drinks, the business has a little bit of something for everybody.

Among the many comfort foods are TV dinners that come with a variety of proteins, including roasted turkey, salisbury steak, chicken parmesan, chicken dinner, cheese enchiladas, and chicken pot pie.

The restaurant also features a menu especially for canines, including grilled hamburger patty bowls and grilled chicken breast bowls.

All meals are made by hand every day, including sauces, marinades, and dressings.

In addition to food, Lazy Dog offers a beer club that includes quarterly and monthly options.

The company operates dozen of locations across the United States, including one other location in Florida in Boca Raton.
