The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the shooting death of a man in his 20’s who was found dead in south Orlando.
Deputies responded to the intersection of Lalchandani Way and South John Young Parkway on Wednesday, January 11 at around 9:29 p.m. in reference to a shooting. A short time after their arrival, police were notified that a man in his 20s who had been shot at the location was driving to Kaley Street.
That man, who police have since identified as 22-year-old Donneill Davis Jr., was transported from Kaley Street to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is active and ongoing and no suspect information or additional details are available at this time.
