Two men were arrested by Clermont police after they were pulled over for a traffic stop and a K-9 alerted to the presence of methamphetamine.
Shane Argall, 31, and William Schodowski, 36, were arrested by Clermont Police Department officers on Thursday, February 2, after they were spotted driving erratically in a vehicle near the area of Hooks Street and Grand Highway.
A traffic stop was initiated and a free-air sniff was conducted on the vehicle by a K-9 unit. After the K-9 alerted on the vehicle, a search was conducted and several kinds of drugs were located within the vehicle.
Those drugs included 29.4 grams of methamphetamine, .5 grams of fentanyl, a small amount of cocaine and Dilaudid pills. Police also found drug equipment and paraphernalia.
Argall, who was riding as a passenger, was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of fentanyl, cocaine, a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.
Schodowski was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Both men were arrested and transported to the Lake County Jail.
