The Orange County Sheriff’s Office will host a shredding event in Apopka for sensitive documents this weekend.
Shred-A-Thon will return on Saturday, February 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Wekiva High School, which is located at 2501 Hiawassee Road in Apopka.
No registration is needed and the event is free and open to the public.
Anyone seeking to participate should place items to shred in the trunk of the vehicle, as the event is strictly drive through only.
Items that are acceptable for shredding include paper, file folders, hanging files, computer paper, notepads, envelopes, CDs/DVDs. Additionally, prescription drug disposal will be available.
