A restaurant with roots in south Florida has just expanded into Central Florida with its first location in Orlando.
World Famous House of Mac opened its doors for business this month at 2435 S Orange Avenue, in Orlando’s SoDo District.
As its name suggests, the restaurant serves up a multitude of macaroni and cheese dishes. Variations include five cheese truffle, Buffalo chicken, jerk chicken, shrimp, smoked barbecue, and chicken parmesean mac and cheese, among many others.
In addition to macaroni and cheese, the restaurant serves a variety of other dishes, including soul food favorites like chicken and waffles and Nashville hot chicken, as well as sandwiches, burgers, and even pizza.
The restaurant joins multiple others that have opened their doors recently in the SoDo district, including John & John’s Pizza, 4Rivers Smokehouse, and SoDough Square.
The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday through Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information on their menu or catering options, visit the World Famous House of Mac website.
