A brush fire that broke out along a well-traveled road in Oviedo was contained by emergency personnel on Thursday afternoon.
Crews from the Seminole County Fire Department and Oviedo Fire Rescue responded to the scene of a brush fire in an area off Chapman Road on February 23.
At least a half dozen units responded to the intersection of Andrew Lane and Blackberry Trail and worked together to contain the fire.
Earlier this month, crews from the Seminole County Fire Department and Longwood Fire Department responded to a brush fire in the area of State Road 434 and Palm Springs Drive in Longwood.
