A 43-year-old man from Orlando will spend the next dozen years behind bars after he was sentenced to federal prison for trafficking methamphetamine.
Martin Felder, Jr. was sentenced on Friday, February 24, by U.S. District Judge Susan C. Bucklew to spend the next 12 years in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Felder will also forfeit assets that are traceable to proceeds of the offense.
According to court records, Felder, who pled guilty on October 20, 2022, is a previously convicted felon and was under investigation for narcotics distribution in the Tampa Bay area.
On two separate occasions, Felder sold meth and heroin to a Drug Enforcement Administration agent working undercover. The narcotics that Felder sold were seized and a forensic laboratory test indicated that the meth was “ICE,” which is a very high purity variation of the drug.
The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Callan Albritton and Maria Guzman.
