Several animals were saved from a home in Casselberry after the kitchen became consumed by flames.
Units from the Seminole County Fire Department and Longwood Fire Department responded to reports of a house fire on Saturday, April 8 in Casselberry.
Upon arrival, units found a fully engulfed kitchen and were able to contain the fire to that room.
One patient was transported to a local hospital for observation, and multiple animals were saved from the home.
Red Cross is assisting displaced occupants, and SCFD is investigating the cause of the fire.
