A teenager was shot while in a vehicle in Altamonte Springs and police are looking for suspects.
Altamonte Springs Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at 304 Newburyport Avenue on Saturday, April 22 at around 10:51 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found one person had been shot while sitting inside of a vehicle. That victim, who was identified as 18-year-old Tramari Thomas, sustained gunshot wounds and was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Detectives and crime scene technicians are currently investigating the case and gathering evidence. They believe the incident may have started as a disturbance at a party at another location.
