Willie Poole

Willie G. Poole, Jr. was born September 12, 1967 in Orange County, Florida to parents, Willie G. Poole, Sr. and Ella Jean Harris. He attended school in Haines City, Florida, graduating from Haines City Senior High School.

After graduation, Willie enlisted into the United States Marine Corp and proudly served his country, giving eight years of service.

Willie had a passion for cooking. It was his love for food that led to his employment as a cook and chef in many restaurants throughout his culinary career. He also enjoyed comic books and building on cars.

Willie had a big heart for family and friends. He was a loving and supportive father to his three children, Georice, Octavia, and Aaron. He opened his heart once more and later became a father-in-heart and affectionately raised three more children, Tevin, Melanie, and Montell.

Willie was preceded in death by his; Mother, Ella Jean Harris; Paternal Grandparents: Grethen Poole and Elnora Poole; Maternal Grandparents: Luther D. Harris and Deacie Givens.

Left to cherish his memory: Wife, Nina Poole of Cocoa, Florida; Biological Children: Georice Oliver of Greensboro, North Carolina, Octavia Poole of Orlando, Florida, and Aaron Grady of Orlando, Florida; Father, Willie G. Poole, Sr.; Children-inheart: Tevin Calhoun, Melanie Elliott, and Mortell Elliott; Siblings: Tabitha Jones (Harold) of Apopka, Florida, Princess Poole of Apopka, Florida, and Gregory, Poole of Apopka, Florida; Uncles: David Poole and David Givens; Aunts: Sadie White (James), Rosemary Powell (Glen), and Irene Givens; 6 Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
