A man who officers observed loitering near a closed business was arrested on burglary charges after he was found with multiple items stolen from a recreational vehicle.
During the late evening hours of Tuesday, June 6, Clermont Police Department officers observed a suspcious male walking around a closed business.
Police made contact with the man, who was later identified as Byron Dority, and found him in possession of items that were later determined to have been burglarized from an RV being stored in a nearby business parking lot.
Police say the owner of the RV was able to respond to the scene and reclaim their stolen goods.
Dority was arrested for vehicle burglary, petit theft, and loitering or prowling. He was transported to the Lake County Jail on Wednesday, June 7.
