Trio wanted for gift card and lotto scam at 7-Eleven

Oviedo police are asking the public for help to identify three individuals wanted for attempting to scam a 7-Eleven out of gift cards and lottery tickets.

According to the Oviedo Police Department, the three individuals featured in this story were seen entering the 7-Eleven located at 1850 W Broadway Street on July 13.

During their visit, the individuals tried to scam the employee working at the time into loading money onto gift cards. The group also acquired lottery tickets from the employee.

The three men then left the convenience store in a four-door, silver sedan.

According to police, some of the winning lottery tickets were later cashed in at the Walmart located at 4255 Alafaya Trail.
