Frontier increasing routes between Orlando and Minneapolis

A low-fare airline will offer additional routes between Orlando and Minneapolis that will begin at $49 each way.

Earlier this week, Frontier Airlines announced that it would expand its winter service to a variety of domestic and international destinations, according to a press release from the company.

The additional routes between the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) will begin on November 16, 2023.

“We’re thrilled to expand our nonstop offerings across our network,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier Airlines senior vice president of commercial. “Along with more routes to Florida, new service to Mexico and the Dominican Republic is also on the horizon. As we get closer to winter, now is the time to start planning those tropical getaways.”

Fares for the trips between MCO and MSP begin at $49 each way. Fares must be purchased by August 29, 2023 for travel through February 13, 2024. The blackout dates for the fares take place from November 18-22, November 24-27, December 20-24, December 26-31, January 1-6, January 12, and January 15, 2024.
