Couple wanted for theft at local Target

The Sanford Police Department is asking the public for help to identify two individuals wanted in connection with the theft of a PlayStation 5 controller from a local Target.

According to SPD, the two man and woman featured in this story were caught on video surveillance entering the Target located at 1201 WP Ball Boulevard in Sanford on August 9, 2023.

During their visit, the individuals walked to the electronics section of the store and selected a PS5 controller, valued at $74.99. The couple then stopped at the Starbucks inside the store before leaving the shop without paying for the item.
