A motorcyclist was killed after a vehicle turned in front of his motorcycle on an Orlando roadway.
The fatal accident took place near the intersection of Forest City Road and Weston Lane at around 7:57 p.m. on September 18.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, a 28-year-old Orlando woman was driving a 2007 Toyota Camry southbound on Forest City Road, approaching Weston Lane, in the left turn lane.
The woman attempted to make a left turn to travel east on Weston Lane when the vehicle came into the direct path of a 2018 Kawasaki Motorcycle being driven by a 34-year-old Orlando man.
As a result, the front of the motorcycle collided with the right side of the Camry.
The motorcyclist was transported to AdventHealth Orlando, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The driver and her passenger, a 22-year-old Orlando man, were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
