Before my parents met, my dad was going to be a Roman Catholic Priest. Then one night at the roller rink, he saw across the rink this beautiful woman with jet black long hair, a tight red sweater and a short black skirt skating. He asked her out and on their date she out of the blue told she told him to pull over and stop. When he did this, she told him to kiss her or lose her forever. Well, you guessed it. He kissed her because they ended up married for 54 years. Smart man and smart woman for knowing what a catch he was. Anyone that truly knows my mom knows that this was not like her so she knew what she wanted and made sure he wanted her. God works in mysterious ways.
The family would like to thank Vitas and more specifically LPN Lynn for the care and compassion all of the employees (especially Lynn) showed our loved one in her final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Christ the King on Sunday November 5, 2023 at 2 p.m.
