Funny Girl will take up residence at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts this week.
Multiple showings are scheduled for the musical from December 5 through December 10, with show times at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 8 p.m. The show is part of the 23/24 Broadway season at the venue, which is located at 445 S Magnolia Avenue in downtown Orlando.
The play is a bittersweet comedy that tells the story of the indomitable Fanny Brice, a girl from the Lower East Side who dreams of a life on stage. The Broadway revival features a bevy of classic songs, including “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” “I’m the Greatest Star,” and “People.”
