MLK Holiday Parade in downtown Orlando

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Parade will return to downtown Orlando this weekend.

The parade will take place on Saturday, January 13, at 10 a.m., beginning at the Orange County Courthouse, which is located at 425 North Orange Avenue in downtown Orlando.

Hosted by the Southwest Orlando Jaycees, the theme for the 40th installment of the parade is “It Starts with Me: Shifting the Cultural Climate Through the Study and Practice of Kingian Nonviolence.”

The parade will feature dance, comedy, community organizations, drumlines, music, and other forms of artistic expression.
