Indigo Bluegrass BBQ bringing live music, food to Central Florida Zoo

The Central Florida Zoo will host its third installment of a bluegrass and barbecue festival focus on ongoing conservation efforts of the Eastern indigo snake.

The Indigo Bluegrass BBQ will take place on Saturday, February 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens (3755 W. Seminole Blvd, Sanford).

The family-friendly event will feature live bluegrass music from Sandy Back Porch, barbecue options available for purchase, conservation education, a charity raffle, and other activities, including and a presentation of native reptiles during the zoo’s Amazing Reptiles show.

According to the organization, $2 from each ticket sold will benefit the conservation efforts at OCIC.
