Henry W. Schofield, age 63, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, February 12, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.
He is survived by his devoted husband Daniel, cherished sister Laura and family, numerous beloved cousins, and friends from all corners of the globe, as well as his beloved dogs who brought him endless joy and companionship.
Throughout his life, Henry touched the hearts of many with his boundless generosity and unwavering dependability. He had a remarkable ability to forge deep connections with those around him, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Henry lived his life on his own terms, never hesitating to pursue his passions with gusto.
Whether it was tackling ambitious house projects or tinkering away in his garage on car endeavors, he approached each endeavor with enthusiasm and determination. Henry’s legacy is one of resilience, kindness, and a zest for life that inspired all who knew him. His absence leaves a void in the lives of those who loved him dearly, but his spirit will continue to live on in the memories and hearts of those he touched.
A small ceremony to honor Henry’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Florida National Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest, attended by close family members.
