Sanford police have launched an investigation after a man was found dead inside his vehicle at a public parking lot on Wednesday morning.
At around 8:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, the Sanford Police Department received a 911 call from an individual who spotted a deceased man inside a vehicle parked near the intersection of E Seminole Boulevard and N Palmetto Avenue, according to the agency.
Based on a preliminary investigation, SPD officers reportedly believe that the man had been living inside the vehicle at the time of his death.
While the exact cause and manner of death remain under investigation, SPD noted that the incident “does not appear to [be] suspicious in nature at this time.”
