Kacey Musgraves announces tour stop in Orlando

Grammy Award-winning country singer Kacey Musgraves is bringing her latest tour to Orlando in December, and tickets are now on sale.

On Monday, December 2, Musgraves will take the stage at the Kia Center (400 W Church Street), and she will be joined by special guests Lord Huron and Nickel Creek. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the concert will kick off at 7 p.m.

Musgraves has self-released three solo albums, and she recorded another album as a member of the duo Texas Two Bits. She also appeared on The Nashville Star, where she finished in seventh place.

In 2013, Musgraves released her major-label debut album, Same Trailer Different Park, and it won a Grammy Award for Best Country Album.

The country singer’s 2015 follow-up album, Pageant Material, debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart and yielded the critically and commercially successful singles “Biscuits” and “Dime Store Cowgirl.”

Musgraves’ subsequent album, 2018’s Golden Hour, went on to win all four of its nominated Grammy Award categories, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album. The first two singles from the album, “Space Cowboy” and “Butterflies,” also earned the singer Grammy Awards for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance.

Throughout her career, Musgraves has won a total of seven Grammy Awards, seven Country Music Association Awards, and three Academy of Country Music Awards.
