Man killed in shooting on Colonial Drive

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting in Orlando that claimed the life of a man on Saturday night.

At around 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, deputies responded to the 14200 block of E Colonial Drive in reference to shots being fired in the area. When they arrived at the incident location, they found a male victim in his 30s who had been shot. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries. His name was not released by the sheriff’s office.

“This is still an active and ongoing investigation,” stated OCSO in a media release early Sunday morning.
