Patricia A. Smith, 82, of Orlando, Florida passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at her home in Orlando, Florida with her loving family by her side. Pat as affectionately known, was born November 2, 1942, in Romulus, Michigan.
She is the daughter of the late Howard White and late Wanda White. Pat was the loving wife of 63 years to Donald L. Smith. Pat married Don, December 29, 1961, and from there dedicated her life to her husband and future children. Pat raised her family in Livonia, Michigan and if asked about the happiest times of her life, she would always say it was raising her kids.
She was very proud that all her children graduated college and had great careers. After raising their children, Pat and Don retired early to Orlando, Florida in 1996. They were happy to call Orlando Home for the past 28 years. She enjoyed fine dining, golfing and visiting theme parks with her family and many visitors throughout the years.
Pat was preceded in death by her brothers James, Gerald and Thomas White.
Besides her loving husband, Don, she is survived by three children. Sheldon Smith and (Tomiko), of Berkley, MI. Bradley Smith and (Sean) of Westland, MI. Alayna Smith and (Dave) of Orlando, FL, and her grandchildren and nieces.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. The viewing will be from 10:00am-11:00am and the service will follow at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Kenrick Barnett, at Winter Oak Funeral Home, 1132 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787. The burial immediately following at Orlando Memorial Gardens, 5264 Ingram Rd, Apopka, FL., 32703.
