Ashley McBryde coming to House of Blues Orlando this week

Country singer-songwriter Ashley McBryde is bringing the Devil I Know Tour to Orlando this week.

On Thursday, April 4, McBryde will take the stage at House of Blues Orlando, which is located at 1490 E Buena Vista Drive. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the concert beginning at 8 p.m.

In 2016, a decade after McBryde began her music career, her extended play (EP) titled Jalopies & Expensive Guitars drew attention from country artist Eric Church. The following year, she signed a contract with Warner Music and released her debut single, “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega.”

McBryde went on to release her first studio album, Girl Going Nowhere, in 2018. Both the album and lead single received critical acclaim, leading to recognition from several music associations.

The critical praise continued in 2020 with McBryde’s second album, Never Will. Its lead single, “One Night Standards,” reached the top 20 of the American country songs chart and topped the Canadian country survey.

McBryde has received one Grammy Award from six nominations, one Country Music Association Award, three Academy of Country Music Awards, and she earned one of country music’s crowning achievements when she was invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

In addition, McBryde was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2019 for outstanding musical performance in a daytime program.

General admission tickets are still available for this Thursday’s concert.
