Two men have been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with a shooting at an Orlando gas station that left one man dead earlier this month.
On Friday, April 12, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office apprehended two suspects, 26-year-old Isaiah Micah Holligan and 24-year-old Jonathan Logan Strickland, who were wanted for the murder of 36-year-old Carlos Henry Bethel.
The fatal shooting occurred on Friday, April 5. At around 9:20 p.m., OCSO deputies responded to the Speedway gas station located at 9520 South Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando.
Upon arrival, deputies found a man, later identified as Bethel, who had sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased, according to OCSO.
No further details were released by the sheriff’s office regarding the homicide investigation or the two suspects’ alleged involvement in the shooting.
Holligan and Strickland are currently being held without bond at Orange County Jail. A court date has not been scheduled as of yet.
