Minerva V. Mercado, born on July 12, 1935, in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully in Orlando, Florida on May 7, 2024. She was a devoted wife to Pedro Mercado and a loving mother to her three children: Pedro Jr., Nelson, and Marisol. Minerva was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Having relocated to Brooklyn, New York, she later moved with her family to Orlando, Florida, Minerva embraced each chapter of her life with resilience and grace. She cherished moments spent with her family, cultivating her passions for gardening, planting, and the occasional thrill of gambling.
Minerva’s vibrant personality, coupled with her quick wit and unwavering strength, left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her laughter and warmth will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
