The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the 53-year-old man who was fatally shot in Orlando on Monday evening.
According to OCSO, the victim in this case has been identified as Andre Pierre Alloway.
Shortly after 8:45 p.m. on Monday, May 20, OCSO deputies responded to the area of 22nd Street and Rio Grande Avenue in Orlando in reference to shots being fired, according to the sheriff’s office.
When deputies arrived, they found a male victim, later identified as Alloway, who had sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
No further details were provided by the sheriff’s office regarding the fatal shooting or any potential suspect(s).
“(Our) detectives are looking for leads in this case,” stated the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in a media release on Wednesday afternoon.
