Marie Bernard Quetly Boyer

Marie Bernard Quetly Marcelin Boyer aka Ketly, Poussin, Ti Pousse, KeKe, and Makak to her son. Born to Bernadette and Denis Marcelin on April 26th 1958 in Petionville,Haiti.

She was the eldest of six children and attended Souers Salesiennes, Lycee Petion-Ville and Fernand Prosper. Then she migrated to New York in 1976 to rejoin her mother in the United States. Ketly sacrificed her teenage years working hard helping her mother, to ensure that her siblings and her father could enter the country. She married the love of her life Yves Boyer on May 21st, 1983. She was a loyal wife and a loving mother to Tessa and Valensky.

After 30 years, Ketly and her family moved to Orlando, Florida to follow her brother Hugues and his family. Ketly was dedicated to her job at the AdventHealth East hospital, where she worked as CNA for almost 20 years. Ketly created a beautiful bond with her coworkers during this time. When she was not at work she loved spending time with her family, including vacations, shopping at Macy’s, and leaves behind a beautiful and extensive collection of shoes.

Ketly passed away with her family surrounding her on September 8th, 2024.

She is survived by her mother Bernadette Marcelin, her husband Yves Boyer, her children Tessa and Valensky, her grandkids Mailah, Uriel,Siahani, and Kendrick which she adored. Her siblings Louis, Regine, Hugues and Vivaldy. Her son-in-law Miguel and daughter-in-law Michelle, as well as extended family.

She moved on to join her father Denis and her brother Lesley in After Life. Her family will never forget the love that she brought to their lives.
