The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting in Orlando that claimed the life of a man on Friday evening.
According to OCSO, at around 8:20 p.m. on Friday, October 18, OCSO deputies responded to the 6100 block of West Colonial Drive in reference to shots being fired.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found a man in his 20s who had sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he died from his injuries.
“This is an active and ongoing investigation,” stated OCSO in a media release on Friday night.
No further details were provided by the sheriff’s office regarding the shooting incident, the victim’s identity, or any potential suspect(s).
