Donald “Don” LeFever, born on May 6, 1934, in Orlando, Florida, peacefully left this world on October 26, 2024. He was a member of the last graduating class of Orlando High School in 1952. He met the love of his life, Glenda Jo, in middle school and later they were married August 6, 1954.
He was survived by his spouse, Glenda Jo; his three daughters, Michelle (William) Dowd; DeDe (David) Donelson; Debra (Thomas) Durdin; his nine grandchildren, Ryan (Nicole) Donelson; William “Shaun” (Abigail) Dowd; Christina (Alex Barttelt) Dowd; Tyler Donelson; Jaime Donelson; Reagan LeFever; his six great-grandchildren, William “Aiden” Dowd, Emma Donelson, Eleanor Dowd, Scarlett Sims, Ryder Donelson and Blake Barttelt; and his sister, Florence Hoff. He was predeceased by his father, Ralph LeFever; his mother, Esther LeFever; and his brother, Ralph LeFever, Jr.
He started in the building supply industry moving on to the cabinetry field and starting his own company in 1979 that created many beautiful kitchens around the Orlando area.
A lover of just being outside, Don found joy in golfing and fishing. His loyalty to the Florida Gators was rivaled only by the love he held for his family. Whether working in his garage, tending to his yard, or grilling for loved ones, Don thrived in the company of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Service to be held on November 2, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home located at 3806 Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, FL 32792. Visitation at 3:30 p.m. and a Service at 4:30 p.m.
