With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Andrea Karina Moreno, who left us too soon on March 16, 2025, in Orlando, FL, after a sudden battle with a cancerous brain tumor.

Born on December 17, 1996, in Daytona Beach, FL, Andrea was a bright light in the lives of those who knew her, leaving behind cherished memories that will live on forever. She was the beloved daughter of Sabine and Alfonso Moreno, the devoted sister of Adrian Moreno, and the treasured partner of Nickson Casimir, who brought love and joy into her life. She was also the adoring caretaker of her spoiled cat, Milo, who was always by her side. Beyond her immediate family, Andrea was a loving granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, co-worker, and a citizen of the world whose presence enriched the lives of so many. Andrea had an inquisitive mind and a passion for understanding society and human behavior, leading her to pursue Sociology as her field of study.

She was proud to be completing her Bachelor’s Degree in May 2025 from the University of Central Florida, a milestone she had worked tirelessly to achieve. She dedicated herself to her role in Customer Service with Orange County Utilities, where her exceptional people skills shone as she assisted others with kindness and professionalism. A powerful woman and natural socialite, Karina possessed a rare gift for forming meaningful connections, spanning across cultures and continents.

Her infectious smile, warm heart, and graceful charm touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and love. She found peace in nature, embracing the simple joys of gardening, stargazing, and watching the sunrise in quiet solitude, moments that reflected her deep appreciation for the beauty of the world around her. Her sudden passing has left an unfilled void in our hearts and souls, a longing for answers as to why such a beautiful soul was taken so soon. Though we grieve, we also celebrate the incredible life she lived and the impact she made on so many.

“Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death cannot touch.” – J.K. Rowling Though Karina is no longer with us in body, her spirit, kindness, and the love she shared will remain with us always, for only love is real.
