A shooting in Orange County claimed the life of a man on Sunday evening.
At around 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 1200 block of Vizcaya Lake Road in Ocoee after receiving reports of a shooting incident, according to OCSO.
When deputies arrived, they found a male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The sheriff’s office stated that the victim was in his 20s. His name was not released.
On Sunday night, OCSO stated that the individuals involved in the incident are “accounted for.” The agency added that there is no threat to the community.
