Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in Orlando that claimed the life of a 37-year-old man early Thursday morning.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the intersection of 18th Street and South Nashville Avenue at around 2 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, in reference to shots being fired in the area.
Upon arrival, deputies found a male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. The deputies rendered first aid to the victim until paramedics arrived on-scene.
The victim was then transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. In an update on Thursday afternoon, OCSO identified the victim as 37-year-old Marcal Jamal Graham.
The sheriff’s office further stated that the homicide investigation is “in its early stages.” No further details were provided regarding the fatal shooting or any potential suspect(s).
