It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennie Marquez-Gregory, a devoted mother, cherished wife, proud grandmother, and dear friend to so many. She was a woman of remarkable strength, compassion, and resilience, who touched the lives of so many. She left this world on August 29, 2025.

Born on February 14, 1959, in Manhattan, New York. Jennie lived a life full of warmth, generosity, and joy. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, always ensuring that her home was filled with love, laughter, and the comforting aromas of her cooking. Her kitchen was her heart’s stage, where she poured her love into every meal and welcomed family and friends to gather, celebrate, and share in her creations.

Beyond her love for cooking, Jennie had a passion for dancing. Whether at family gatherings, weddings, or simply in her own living room, she lit up the room with her joyful spirit and graceful steps. Her laughter was contagious, her smile unforgettable, and her ability to make others feel loved was truly one of her greatest gifts.

She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Gregory Sr, her son Charles Gregory Jr, and her beloved grandchildren, Elijah, Dalen, and Kameron who were the pride and joy of her life. Her Father Ramon Marquez, Two brothers Louis (Annette) Marquez and Ismael Marquez. Four sisters Elsie, Jackie (Steve) and Evelyn (Terry). She is preceded in death by her mother Gertrude Andrew- Marquez, Brother Thomas Andrews, & Nancy Marquez. Extended Sisters Vernita, Teresa, Nicole and Carmen. She also leaves behind countless friends and extended family, all of whom were touched by her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love.

Jennie will be remembered not only for the roles she played as wife, mother, and grandmother, but also for the way she made everyone feel like family. Her legacy of love, joy, and togetherness will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
