Azarius Bryan, 22, of Orlando, Florida, passed away unexpectedly. Born and raised in Orlando, AZ had just celebrated his 22nd birthday.
AZ was a student at Full Sail University, where he was pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Entertainment Business and working toward building a future in the industry. During his journey, he spent a couple of years living with his uncle BJ in North Carolina, where he developed a sense of structure and discipline that contributed to his personal growth. His family looked forward to seeing all that he planned to accomplish with his degree, because when AZ made up his mind about something, he would not stop until he achieved it!
He had a deep passion for online gaming, which brought him both joy and connection. Through that passion, he built meaningful friendships, including close bonds with his friends Yvener and Kris. Though some of AZ’s friendships were formed online, they were real, consistent, and important parts of his life. Above all, AZ had a profound love for his family, especially his siblings, with whom he shared a close and meaningful bond.
Affectionately known as “AZ,” he had a unique personality that left a lasting impression. He was exceptionally intelligent and was often considered to have a genius-level intellect from an early age based on his academic testing. He was also recognized as the highest-scoring male in the state of Florida on the FCAT and ranked among the top percentiles statewide, a reflection of his remarkable academic ability.
He carried that intelligence with him throughout his life, along with a spirit that those close to him understood and cherished deeply.
AZ cared deeply about humanity. His innocence allowed him to maintain an optimistic outlook on life. One of his dreams was to help establish a new city, a place he envisioned as a safe haven away from the evils of this country and the world. He loved beyond himself and desired to be a part of the change that is so desperately needed.
Azarius passed away unexpectedly, leaving an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his parents, Billy Bryan and Aleathia Dupree; his beloved siblings Asher, Saniyah, Brayden, Kyrie, and Serenity Bryan; Azalea Stallworth; and Akoye and Akeana Dupree Wilson; as well as his step-parents. He is also remembered by a host of aunts, uncles, and many cousins who loved him dearly.
AZ will be remembered for his intelligence, his individuality, the relationships he built, and the love he had for his family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in all who knew him.
