Mary Kelly, lovingly known as “Aunt Mary” to so many who were blessed to know and love her, passed away on May 21, 2026. Though our hearts are deeply saddened by her passing, we find comfort in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior.

Mary was born on November 30, 1934, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Edward and Helen Auderer. She built a life centered around faith, family, and caring for others. On May 13, 196, she married the love of her life, John J. Kelly, Jr.

Mary Worked for Hartford Insurance Company, where she dedicated many years of service before retirement. Yet, her greatest work was never measured by a title — it was found in the was she cared for people around her.

To know Mary was to know kindness, generosity, and selflessness. She was the kind of person who quietly put others before herself, always looking for ways to help. Whether it was offering encouragement, lending a hand, doing dishes after a family gathering, or simply making sure those she loved were cared for, Mary lived with a servant’s heart. Helping others was never something she felt obligated to do — it was simply who she was.

Her love extended far beyond blood relation. Mary had a special way of making people feel like family, loving deeply and wholeheartedly. She treasured time with those she loved, especially her nephews William and Beauden.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John J. Kelly Jr., and is survived by her devoted daughter, Patricia Sims, and son-in-law, James Sims, along with many family members and loved ones whose lives were forever touched by her kindness and love.

Mary leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, service and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
