39-year-old man identified as victim in south Orlando homicide

A 39-year-old man has been identified by police as the victim of a homicide that took place in south Orlando last week.

Etson Faustin, 39, was found suffering from gunshot wounds by Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies on Friday, December 30.

At around 4:56 a.m., OCSO deputies responded to the 7000 block of Southland Boulevard in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, deputies located Faustin and another man both suffering from gunshot wounds.

Faustin and the other man, who has not been identified due to Marsy’s Law, were transported to the hospital, where Faustin was pronounced deceased.

The other man is in critical condition, according to authorities.

The investigation is currently in its early stages and no additional information has been made available to the public.
