Local police are looking for information that may help them find those responsible for shooting and killing a 36-year-old man near Millenia Mall earlier this week.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office detectives are currently investigating the homicide of Darius Darnell Shorter, who was shot and killed on Tuesday, March 28.
On that day, OCSO deputies responded to the 4300 block of Aqua Vista Drive at around 11:53 p.m. after receiving reports regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, police found Shorter suffering from gunshot wounds in a parking lot.
Shorter was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The shooting took place just a few blocks from the Millenia Mall.
No additional details or information regarding the suspect has been released in the case.
