61-year-old killed in west Orlando accident

A 61-year-old Orlando man was killed after his vehicle left a roadway and crashed into a tree.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the fatal accident took place on Dorscher Road on Friday, March 31, at around 8:32 p.m.

The man was driving a Buick Encore SUV northbound on Dorscher Road, just south of Alston Drive, when the vehicle veered off the roadway to the left. The vehicle then went down an embankment and collided with a tree line.

The deriver was transported to Health Central Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
