Adoption fees waived by Osceola County Animal Services

Osceola County Animal Services is waiving adoption fees this week for all dogs and cats.

According to shelter officials, the facility is currently “busting at the seams” with pets that need homes.

Starting on Friday, April 14, and continuing through Thursday, April 20, adoption fees for dogs and cats will be waived by the shelter.

“Please remember though that even though we are waiving adoption fees temporarily, pets cost money. You will need food, veterinary care, toys, etc.” reads a social media post from the organization.

The shelter says it will remain open until 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, to accommodate additional adoption requests.

For more information on the shelter, or to see which dogs and cats are up for adoption, visit the Osceola County Animal Services website.
