William Sheets

Bill Sheets passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 77, in Winter Garden, Florida. He fought a courageous battle against Alzheimer’s and passed peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones. Bill was born in Canton, Ohio, on November 21.

Bill was a legend. He charmed everyone he met with a smile and a story about his girls or cars. His winning sense of humor and fierce love for his family drew people to him and left a lifetime of simply unforgettable memories. Bill devoted his life to building a recycling business and restoring classic cars. He graduated from Canton South High School, was a Journeyman Carpenter, and was part owner of Alliance Recycling Company.

He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Sharon, and his two children, Debra (James) Unger, and Kristen (David) Stalker; grandchildren: Cheyenne Unger, Aiden Unger, and Shea Stalker as well as his sister Jean Brooks and many close friends who became family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Mayberry, and father, John Sheets.

There will be a mass at Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando, Florida on April 28, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel.
