Multiple people were trauma alerted from the scene of an accident that took place on State Road 436 on Friday afternoon.
Seminole County Fire Department units responded to the intersection of SR 436 and Balmy Beach in Apopka on Friday, April 28 after receiving reports of a vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, crews found two vehicles that had been involved in an accident and sustained damage.
The damage was so severe that it caused an entrapment, forcing crews to extricate the occupants.
Those occupants were transported to local trauma centers for treatment. The extent of the injuries or those injured was not provided by authorities.
