Pools open in Winter Garden for the summer

Two community pools in Winter Garden will open to the public this weekend for the summer.

The Farnsworth Pool (1 Surprise Drive) and the Bouler Pool (362 11th Street) will both open to the public beginning Saturday, May 6. The pools will be open on Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., through August 19.

General admission to Farnsworth Pool is $2 for all visitors 12 years of age and older, and $1 for all those between the ages of 2 and 11. A family pass may be purchased for $55 for each city resident and $80 for each nonresident.

The family pass can be used for up to 6 family members. An individual pass for adults may be purchased for $30 by city residents and $35 for nonresidents.

The Bouler Pool is free for all to visit.

Weekday access to the pools will begin May 30 and will extend through August 4. During weekdays. For Farnsworth Pool, hours of operation for weekdays through the summer will be 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. At Bouler Pool, the facility will be open Tuesday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
