Anthony Michael Burke, Sr.

Anthony Michael Burke, Sr., age 42, of Osteen, Florida passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday, April 27, 2023 in Sanford, FL.

Anthony was born on March 22, 1981 in Falls Church, VA. to Tammy Jean Burke. Anthony met his soulmate and the love of his life, Jennifer Carol-Ann Saylor, in April of 2007 where they quickly became inseparable and remained that way until his passing. On June 27, 2008 Anthony and Jennifer welcomed the birth of their twins Hailey & Anthony Jr. (AJ). They married the following year on August 1, 2009, in Vienna, VA. In July of 2012 they decided to relocate from the Northern Virginia area to Osteen, Florida where they intended to settle, raise their family and plant their roots.

Anthony was a family man, his family’s rock and the glue that held it all together. With an infectious laugh and a smile that lit up the room. Anthony’s wife and children were his world and everything he did in life was to ensure their happiness.

He was employed by Ability Medical Supply, Inc., where he worked as an assistive technology professional. Anthony took great pride in enriching and changing the lives of the people he faithfully served.

Besides his loving wife of nearly 14 years, Jennifer, Anthony is survived by his children, Anthony Michael Burke, Jr. (AJ), and Hailey Jessica Burke, both of Osteen, and Katrine Lucia Saylor Romdahl of Edgewater, FL; his mother, Tammy Akhtar of Falls Church, VA; his brother, Brandon Anthony Burke and his wife, Heather, of Falls Church, VA; along with two uncles, William and Roger, several cousins, and numerous other close family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Seminole Chapel, 335 E. State Road 434, Longwood, FL

Visitation will be on Monday, May 8, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Osteen Cemetery, in Deltona, FL.
