Men who broke into storage unit, stole firearms wanted by Orlando police

Law enforcement authorities are trying to identify two men who broke into a storage facility on East Colonial Drive and stole dozens of firearms.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reported that on May 6, the two men featured in this story broke into a storage facility along East Colonial Drive at around 1:45 a.m.

In surveillance footage, the suspects are seen arriving at the facility and breaking open the door. The couple makes their way to a specific unit and loots it. Moments later, they are seen exiting the facility with multiple pieces of luggage.

Police say the pieces of luggage were filled with firearms.

“Help us catch these criminals and get these stolen guns off the streets before they are used in other crimes,” reads a statement from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives is offering a $5,000 reward and the Central Florida Crimeline is offering a $7,500 reward for information that will help lead to an arrest.
