UPDATE: Jay Ruth Sheppard was located on May 29 in Orlando and is in good health.
A 72-year-old woman suffering from dementia, Alzheimer’s, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia has been missing since she was discharged from a local hospital earlier this month.
Jay Ruth Sheppard was last seen on May 9 after she was discharged from the AdventHealth Apopka hospital, which is located at 2100 Ocoee Apopka Road in Apopka.
Sheppard stands 5’7″ tall, weighs 230 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. Authorities say Sheppard has moles around her eyes and is missing a front tooth.
