Fair Housing Training for Orlando landlords

City of Orlando officials will host a Fair Housing Training session for area landlords interested in learning how to address potential Fair Housing issues that affect their residents.

The Human Relations’ Fair Housing Training class will take place on Wednesday, May 25, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Orlando City Hall, which is located at 400 South Orange Avenue. The class will feature three sessions: The basics of fair housing, sexual orientation and gender identity, and housing and reasonable accommodations.

Officials hope the training will equip community advocates and housing providers with knowledge to identify potential Fair Housing issues that affect the community members and residents they assist. The training is being offered to various housing providers located within the city limits of Orlando and community organizations engaged in advocacy for members of marginalized communities.
