Dolores Esposito

Dolores Esposito of Orlando Florida, passed away on Friday May 19, 2023

Dolores, fondly know as ‘Dee’ lived for 83 beautiful years. She is survived by her loving children, Doreen Varricchio, Tom Esposito, Jr. and his wife Geralynn Esposito; her beloved grandchildren Stephen R. Varricchio Jr. and his wife Julie Varricchio; Amanda, Taylor and Kayle Esposito; and great grandchildren Meriem and Stephen III.

Born and raised in Corona, Queens, New York, Dee was a loving wife to her husband of 63 years, Tom Esposito (1937-2023). She was a loyal friend to many, and was a kind and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was affectionately called Nanie by her grandchildren, and was also fondly known as ‘Nanie Dee’ by all of the young people she encountered throughout her later years.

Dee was always ready to help others, especially as a member of the Council of Catholic Women (CCW) of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Orlando, FL. She loved to cook for family and friends and made birthdays and holidays special for everyone. Dee’s favorite past time was baking cakes, cookies, muffins and all kinds of sweet treats. Everyone had their favorites and family celebrations were not complete without her home baked goods. Dee will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and she will live on in the memory of those who loved her.

The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or The Wounded Warrior Project.
